Chinese Language (Beginner) is a practical introductory course designed for learners who are planning to live, travel, study, or work in China, or who want to build confidence communicating in everyday Chinese situations. The course focuses on useful spoken Mandarin, listening skills, essential vocabulary, and basic sentence patterns that can be applied in real-life contexts such as introductions, travel, shopping, dining, transport, social interactions, and workplace communication. Alongside language learning, students are introduced to key aspects of Chinese culture, etiquette, and communication styles to help them engage more confidently and respectfully in Chinese-speaking environments. The emphasis is on practical use, repetition, and real-world communication rather than academic theory, making it ideal for beginners starting from zero.
